Deann is a native of the Blue Ridge Mountains, born and raised in Rockbridge County. After her undergraduate education at The American University, she worked in Washington DC for many years in international business.

She received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is a NCCAOM-certified, Virginia Board of Medicine licensed acupuncturist.

She also specializes in Chinese Herbal Medicine; Deann is the Chinese Herbal Program Director, Lead Instructor of Chinese Herbs, and a Clinic Supervisor at Lotus Professional College in Richmond, Virginia.

and Chinese herb specialist, her main purpose is to facilitate a customized path to each person’s health and well-being.

Currently, Deann is only seeing established patients or former patients of Roanoke or Rockbridge Community Acupuncture.

However, I am happy to answer your questions and help you find a qualified practitioner.

Hakomi sessions can be booked for in-person or via Zoom.
